Finding the Glorious in the Crazy

May you are complete madness.I just don't even know how to handle you anymore. Every year you get busier and every year I somehow forgot how crazy you are. May, you are a force to be reckoned with. I'm already overwhelmed and exhausted and you aren't even over yet! But in all the graduations, mothers day events, end of year fairs and more, I have found the goodness in you May. I found your quiet, soft and sweet side. I found May mornings.May, your mornings are glorious. I have been tricking you May, by getting up early, earlier than normal. I have been found every morning sitting out on my newly styled back porch, sipping coffee and enjoying your sweeter side. The warmth mixed with a little bit of cool. The birds chirping and the sun shining. Pair that with the sweet smell of grass and everyone is winning.May your mornings are speaking life into me.I find my Savior on May mornings. He sits with me and whispers truth into my ears through his word and through prayer. May you brought that back into my life, because of WINTER! Winter was worse than you. Winter was dreary and cold and never-ending. Though you bring your own drama, winter is WAY worse!May, you allow me to breathe in what I love without the scorching heat. The sun. I love light and sunshine. I love fresh air and outside. I love to hike and kayak and sitting on patios at restaurants with friends and good food. May, you bring all this and more. And even though you are crazy, and I mean CRAY-CRAY, I accept your crazy because your goodness outweighs it all. May you have reminded me that God makes all things new in his time and that even in the all the busy there's always time for him. He waits for me now in the early hours of May and in his presence I breathe in the Son.'May' we all do the same as we close out the crazy month of May.Connect With God: How can you get outside with God? Take a walk. Sit outside to read your Bible. May is such a great time for us to enjoy God's goodness in creation. I hope you can, in all the busy May things, take some time to sit with God and enjoy his presence. It's the best thing to do in a season that is so busy!
