Connect With God: Only God Defines You

Yesterday was rough for me. I had to fight for truth. Anyone else have days or seasons like that? Thank the Lord for the random opening of the word because he opened this verse in Isaiah up for me today and boy was it a game changer. So just like that, I had the truth. The truth of who I am in Christ. He formed me, he redeemed me, he calls me by name and I AM HIS! The good news is, this is not just for me, it's for you too. As a follower of Jesus, you too are his. Sit in this truth this week. I've helped us with some truthful words about who we are to our heavenly Father;When the deceiver calls you anything but what is listed above combat it with the truth of "Only God Defines Me and He says I am... beloved, a treasure, his child, free, redeemed, restored, forgiven and dearly LOVED!" Now that's a good word for all of us!Connect with God: Sit in God's truth about who you are this week, read each of the scriptures listed, imagine how great it will feel to know you are a treasure each and every day! Remind someone else of this good word by sharing this truth with them today too. The more we know who we are in God the more confident we are to use our gifts and talents in his name for his glory. Pursue truth alone and don't let anyone, ANYONE tell you any differently, not even your own thoughts.REDEEMED. RESTORED. TREASURED.
